MUSICAL BEGINNINGS
Susanna began her classical piano training at the age of 7. Numerous local competitions and awards culminated in her solo concerto performance with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra at the age of 16. She continued to study piano formally for several years as she also moved into the area of professional accompaniment for both choirs and soloists.
In the past decade, Susanna has played professional keyboards in collaboration with various local musicians and groups. Susanna enjoys recording as well, and in 2003, contributed keyboard and vocal parts to a gold award-winning Canadian children's CD. Susanna also has roots in sacred music, and from her childhood years as accompanist and cantor she branched out to directing local award-winning choirs as an adult. She has been a well-known vocalist in the region for some years and began her collaboration with Flamenco Caravan in 2003.
