Flamenco Caravan

Jim Differ has been Flamenco Caravan's drummer since 2005, but he originally hails from Toronto where he joined his first professional band at the age of seventeen. From that moment on, he toured extensively for many years in Canada and the U.S.A., in a variety of bands, playing styles ranging from rock and R&B to blues and country.

Jim has added jazz drumming to his repertoire in recent years, and his versatility as a drummer, in all genres, currently makes him an in-demand session player. With Flamenco Caravan, Jim has enjoyed the challenge of venturing into Latin rhythms and hand drumming. In 2005, Jim received a Juno nomination for co-producing a children's album by his brother Jake.
